Personally, I don’t need a 18 megapixel camera as I rarely need 18×12″ prints but there is not a lot to complain about with this camera. The EOS 1D class auto focus system, micro focus adjustment, liveview, 8 fps, and 1080p video are all features I find attractive for my needs. With a price tag of $1,700, it is within the reach of many prosumers. The EOS 7D is scheduled for release at the end of September, 2009.
