In an update to the case, Amanda Logue pleaded guilty to second degree murder in a plea deal reduced from the original charge of first degree murder. She was sentenced to 40 years in prison Monday (May 21, 2012) in the Pasco county courtroom. She would have been eligible for a life sentence in the original charge of first degree murder. Logue, a porn actress who went by the name Sunny Dae, along with Jason Andrews murdered Dennis “Scooter” Abrahamsen in 2010 and stole about $6,000 in cash.

She was quickly apprehended in her Georgia home but Jason Andrews went on the run and was arrested about two month later in Chattanooga, TN. Andrews received a life sentence earlier this year for first degree murder for his role in the gruesome sledgehammer murder after a sex party in which Logue was hired as a prostitute. Logue and Andrews planned the murder and robbery by text message as Andrews sat outside waiting in a car. Andrews worked as a DJ while in Chicago but also performed as a gay porn actor for Sean Cody. Although he portrayed himself as British, he was actually American and is believed to have served some time in the Marines.
